 A new look at Consulting

In my two most recent business start-ups I encountered the recurring difficulties of project deployment, especially in the field of the launch of new products or services.

Although a clear, coherent strategy had been devised and a sound business plan drawn up, the companies invariably came up against difficulties when implementing their project. The technical input of my service was insufficient and it became essential, for myself and for my clients, to focus on empowerment and knowledge transfer in order to ensure full-scale workability. The frustration engendered by this observation led to the birth of the concept of deployment energy.

This became the founding principle of Eur'Egide.

During our pre-launch meetings I expressed a dual concern - that we should retain control of the development of our future activities and that we should encourage freedom of intent in our consulting input.Very quickly, our business model was drawn up, based on a principle of networking. To ensure the provision of a high added-value service, and taking into account the multi-discipline nature of our approach, the notion of double-headed intervention by senior consultants was adopted. Each of the latter bringing a dual competence to bear : technical talent associated with strategic development know-how.

To ensure rapid implementation of the project, I firmly believe that solid groundwork on working methods is absolutely essential. This belief is today supported by an innovative methodology, the Energ'Ethic concept, a powerful transfer tool developed by Eur'Egide over the past 20 years.

Another firm conviction underlies our approach. As Confucius once said, "When a man is hungry, do not give him a fish; take him to the water and teach him to catch fish". We will teach you how to fish, but we will not do the fishing for you. We provide support and coaching to Management teams to ensure that the Project is successfully implemented. We are totally committed to improvement of your performance.

As much of our input focuses on behavioural aspects, it is essential that result indicators are established in order to measure progress throughout the project. The mobilization of energy for deployment is as important to measure as the growth of your cash-flow.
